After a long day of work, I just want to sit on the couch, relax, and not think. There are a million shows I could watch to keep me entertained and kill time before bed, but I prefer ones that make me feel cozy, positive, and ready to sleep. Three shows in particular top my list.

First: Grace and Frankie (2015). The netflix dramedy about two women getting stuck together after their husbands divorce them because they are gay is a modern classic.
With outstanding acting and an absorbing premise from the first episode, the 7 seasons are a wild ride that covers the emotional spectrum and the difficulties of aging with class.
I have been watching it since season 1 released and rewatched it every time a new season came out. It is that good.
Second: Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid (2017). This one is not for everyone because it is a slightly raunchy anime about a dragon who falls in love with a hard working tsundere woman and becomes her maid.
But it is the coziest and funniest slice-of-life that I have ever seen. It covers the relatable exhaution of the daily grind and the comical whimsy of having a magical friend that does not understand your customs.

Finally, our favorite: Brooklyn 99 (2013). The comedy cop show that is more about relationships and shenanigans than procedures will always have a place in my heart.
The first season takes some time to hit its stride, but it gets exponentially better as the characters grow and the actors are given more creative freedoms. Their antics and good humor make every character lovable, and I cry every time the show ends.
What do you watch to make youself feel better after a long day before getting ready for bed?
