Over the next 10 weeks, I will publish my short story anthology, When Hope Burned White, Volume 2.

It is a direct sequel to last year’s and contains 10 brand new stories that deal with loneliness, despair, whimsy, and the power of hope.

I cannot wait for you to read these new flash fiction tales, all of which are less than a thousand words and inspired from the artwork of Dixit. As Volume 1 shared, the tagline for the series continues: When life burns you down to coals, this is what’s left.

Even so, I think you will find that in this new volume, the light shines just a little bit brighter than before.
