Grant Pearson
I have been writing stories since gradeschool and novels since I joined NanoWrimo in 2010. It has taken some time and a lot of life to get to a point where I could publish some of my work, and I am very excited to finally share it.
I am an English Teacher, and many of my stories and ideas are recently inspired by the lives I see on the daily.
As such, much of my writing centers around the expectations and pressure that our families and communities place on our shoulders.
Until recently I was staunchly in the fantasy genre, but I’ve been spending increasing amounts of time with science fiction. Either way, engaging character development is my goal. I want my writing to haunt you in a good way.
If you are interested in knowing a bit more about me, I wrote a post about my origin story as well as a few fun facts about me.
Inspirations:
- Tobias Wolff, Andy Weir, Martha Wells, Neil Gaimon, & Lemony Snicket
- The Name of the Wind, Gideon the Ninth, The Lord of the Rings, Neverwhere, & The Rest of Us Just Live Here
